Big weekend in the football world! Also, lots of sports and even a few theatre productions happening, so lets get started.
February 3
Running until the February 11, “All Through the Night” follows a group of German women during WW2 and the Nazi Regime. Their choices and decisions these women make will change their lives forever. This production will take place at the Greystone Theatre in the John Mitchell Building on the U of S Campus. Click here…
The Persephone Theatre presents The 39 Steps, a Patrick Barlow adaptation of the movie by Alfred Hitchcock. The Tony Award winning show is a zany murder/ mystery involving Scotland, a beautiful woman and a missing finger… sounds intriguing! Click here…

Bump, set, spike! Men’s and Women’s volleyball is in full swing at the PAC. The UBC- Okanagan Heat take on the Huskies. Women’s action starts a 6 while the men start serve at 8.
Also, the Calgary Dinos face the Huskies at Rutherford Rink in CIS hockey action. Puck drop is at 7.
A day trip might be in order to catch Men’s Tankard action in Assiniboia. Teams like top ranked Steve Laycock and perennial attendant Bruce Korte among others will face off for a Brier birth in Saskatoon. Click here…
February 4
The Medicine Hat Tigers come to town to face the Blades in a possible play- off showdown. This will be a great game, no doubt! Puck drop at 7:05 at CUC.
In PJHL action, the Westleys travel to Delisle to take on the Chiefs. Game time is at 8.
The Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra presents At The Movies- A night of Oscar Winning Music. Hear all your favourites at TCU. 7:30 is the start time. Click here…
February 5
A great day for biking! Ice Cycle 2012 is for biking enthusiasts… the pedal form of transportation. Beat the Farmer’s Market for 1pm to parade through the downtown area. Cleared, sanded and free of vehicles, the streets are yours!
Perhaps the biggest sporting event in North America. Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis plays host to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots going head- to- head with Eli Manning and the New York Giants. A rematch of the 2008 Super Bowl which saw the Giants squeak past the Pats in a nail biter. This could prove to be a great game!
